The days of relying solely on Google Adwords to drive prospects to your website, are sadly over.

If you are still depending on Google to keep your online business afloat or to bring in your 6 figure income OR if you are seeking to diversify your advertising, then this article is for you!

There are actually several other methods that you can utilize to generate leads for your business.

My mentor has always maintained that your leads (the people who come to your site and enter their name and email requesting information), are the FUEL for your business. Without leads you simply do not have a business!

So, you will need to decide where you are going to, “set your net”.

Here are a few recommendations that you might want to consider:

1. It is great if you can continue to use Google Adwords, as long as you play by the rules. Do not try to outsmart Google, or to “fly under the radar”. This will NOT be sustainable!

2. CPV/PPV or Cost Per View/Pay Per View. There are a number of networks to choose from here. It is somewhat more challenging to get volume traffic from this strategy, however it is wise to look at the various CPV networks and make a start!

3. Tier 2 Networks (also referred to as Tier 3). These are the search networks other than Google, Yahoo and Bing. YUP! Simply do a Google search to find them. Here are a few examples:

4. JV Traffic (Joint Venture) affiliate sales. This can take many forms. For example, a very simple JV would be merely exchanging links or banners with related websites. Another way could be to share a website with another business that has the same target market and double the traffic. You can exchange testimonials or endorsements for each others product or services. You can also combine your products/services into a larger package and split the profits. In addition, if you have a product that isn’t selling as well as you would like, offer it as a free bonus for another person’s product in exchange for a small percentage of the profits. (These are a few of the many possibilities to give you the general idea).

5. Media Buys. This is generally low cost and converts quite well! You simply approach a high traffic or targeted website in order to purchase adspace for your text ad or display ad. Negotiate for position and price! It is important to track all of your results here and of course be sure to do more of what is working!

6. Organic Traffic. It is unwise to leave money on the table because of a “fear” of SEO. There are simple but effective strategies that you can implement starting with the structuring of your website, and keyword research for articles and videos that can bring in revenue from free search.

7. Social Media. This is by no means a volume lead generator, however it is an essential part of your online presence, therefore it is important to maintain consistency in your chosen social media networks. I recommend Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.

There are many other methods, including solo Ezine ads, Facebook PPC and much more! DIVERSIFY!
