Last month I attended Carbon Copy Pro’s seventh PRO Master Marketing Event in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Arizona Grand Resort was the perfect setting for such an event – spacious enough for privacy if one needed it and intimate enough for some powerhouse networking or simple gatherings of friends and fellow marketers alike.

The day before was my birthday and my mentor and close friend Lena and her husband Sam, arranged a road-trip for her team and mine to visit the spectacular Grand Canyon.

Two van loads of Pro’s top marketers masterminded their way to one of America’s most
beautiful locations.

The trip seemed to fly by as we exchanged strategies and poked fun at each other on our way to the canyon.

No amount of pictures of video can prepare you for the spectacular view at the Grand Canyon. It literally took my breath away.

What followed was a fun surprise – Lena had stashed 2 beautiful birthday cakes, one for me and one for fellow marketer Ida Berg, who shares the same birthday.

Lena even had party hats, plates, and pink tiaras for the birthday girls. What a day!

Our team assembled for the conference at the hotel early the next morning and took seats at the front. Many of our newest team members sat with eager anticipation as the Vice President of PR Leadership Mr. John Jackson took to the stage and got the ball rolling on what has become known as the BEST Pro Master Marketing event in history.

The marketing training was exceptional as one by one the company’s longest standing top performers opened their play books as it were and revealed their top online marketing strategies to a room full of marketers from around the world.

These marketers, among the very best in the world each presented the newest cutting edge strategies for generating volume traffic online. They covered lead generation at length but also defined the importance of converting that traffic to high ticket back end sales and the importance of calculating one’s return on investment and running a profitable online business.

The training was a game changer for all the marketers in attendance! I sat watching with one of my business partners, Helene Thituson and co-founder of iPROsynergy ( a marketing team we founded in December 2010) .

Although some of our members were unable to attend due to prior commitments, Helene and I were watching as Jay Kubassek, CEO and Founder of Carbon Copy Pro announced that he had 3 Master Marketing Awards to hand out.

What we didn’t realize at that moment was that iPROsynergy were about to be the recipients of one of the prestigious awards!! This was an exhilarating moment!! The success that had once been a belief now acted on and visualized had become a reality.

Previously, after attending my first Master Marketing event and seeing marketers receive awards, I had an inner determination that one day soon I too would be in their place. Now in iPROsynergy’s 6th month operating as a team here we were! And the best part about it is that we had so many of our team there with us at the event.

After returning home to Jamaica in the last week of May, a few days later Mr. John Jackson, (affectionately known as “JJ”) the VP of Leadership, phoned to announce that I had been selected as Pro’s Spotlight Member of the Month for June 2011. Why do some people enjoy breakout success, and others even though they may work hard, experience only minor triumphs and have no real lasting success?

A very simple reason, is that you must understand to the point of revelation, and consistently apply certain laws.

Just like the law of gravity, laws work for everyone, regardless of their circumstance.

Simply find out which laws apply to your situation, and apply them consistently!

As sure as you know the result of jumping from a high building, you will see your result.

Consider this, you can not reap without sowing. If you sow, and you get all the conditions right, you will reap!

It is very important to put things in the right order. The first thing to do is to identify the specific result that you want to achieve, (make sure it is the one you really want) and meditate on it night and day.

You must see yourself in a vivid mental picture, living with your achievement and enjoying all it’s benefits. If you do this right, you will also feel the emotions attached to successfully achieving your goals.

Next is to organise on paper, in the form of a checklist, every single law that will enable you to achieve your goal.

Another law, is that sustained success in anything will only exist in an organized environment. The more brilliantly organized, the more outstanding the success of the enterprise. Momentary success can come in a haphazard way, but not extraordinary sustainable success.

Think of the avaition industry, think of disorganized pilots, disorganized maintenance, disorganized booking services, disorganized air traffic control etc. In such an environment, the occasional flight might be pleasurable, but can we really expect a sustainably successful avaiation industry in this state?

I mentioned a checklist for the laws you need to employ for your enterprise. Did you know that no matter how many thousands of times a seasoned airline captain (think Sullenberger) does the procedure for take offs and landings, it is an absolute requirement that a checklist be used every single time?

In my coming articles, I intend to point out the laws that have brought the exceptional, sustained success of the great achievers in history.

Remember, a law is no respecter of persons. The rule is that laws work the same way every time regardless of person, place or circumstance.

One thing that is clear about trust, is that it takes time to develop. Trust is a gift that human beings share. There can be no close without trust!

So, how do we earn the trust of our prospects?

There are some important aspects in a good online business, or any form of business for that matter, these include, innovation, persistence, leadership and follow through.

However, the most valuable and rare gift is that of trust.

In a world where the norm is for people to be pitched at, marketed and sold to, there is a tendency to focus more on ourselves and what’s in it for us. However if we exist for mutual benefit we gain far more satisfaction from this and reap far greater reward.

We often give gifts to friends and loved ones on their birthdays and other special occasions. But one of the greatest gifts that we as human beings share is that of trust.

In the rapid world of online marketing, there has developed a level of skepticism among potential prospects. They have been pitched at so many times that they are jaded and trust is harder to come by.

There is nothing more likely to result in a lack of trust than a slick sales pitch.

Be real, be yourself and make sure that you are promoting a business model that you are passionate about and that you know will bring success for your prospect.

If for example, on your landing page, you make an offer to your prospect, then be certain to over deliver on your thank you page.

In your auto responder emails, give value but also be personal. Remember, people follow people, and they buy from people they trust! This comes from a sense of knowing you and what you stand for.

It is far more difficult to gain the trust of your prospect if you are promoting a company replicated site with absolutely no personal touch.

Finally, if you really care about the success of your prospects, this will shine through throughout your sales funnel.

I always maintain that giving without want is the precursor to massive success!

Man can create anything that he can imagine! All the plans of mankind begin in the imagination. This article outlines the fifth step to creating wealth.

Our creativity is developed by regular use (or exercise).

The great leaders in finance, commerce, industry, music, art and literature all developed their asset of creative imagination.

Just as our muscles become stronger with exercise and use, so too does our creativity develop with constant use.

In the process of transforming ones desire for money into real wealth, bear in mind that you may face circumstances and hurdles that will demand that you exercise creativity.

Imagination does not die, however it does atrophy from lack of use.

Remember, first you have the desire, then you write the plan and declare the result. Believe. Be creative. Persist, the positive outcome is inevitable. Sometimes patience is required, but NEVER give up!

Ideas are the beginning points of all fortunes. These are the product of our imagination.

Think of the individual whose imagination conceived “Coca-cola”, and the mammoth industry that ensued. Long after he is gone…his idea and the product of it, lives on. That is power.

As an internet marketer, you will have faced the challenges of driving traffic to your websites, getting conversions, monetizing those conversions and ensuring that you have a great ROI.

There is something to be said about all of this. I have often heard it said, that, “the person who gives the most value, wins!”.

Exercise your creativity. Go the extra mile. Add value to yourself so that you can be valuable to others. Give freely of yourself and watch the explosive growth of your business!

This is the third step in a process that we have been looking at, to generating massive wealth.

If you have been following this series, then you will recall the six steps needed to turn your desires into gold. For those of you who have just joined us, here is a very brief recap.

1)      What amount of money do you desire? (ie per month)

2)      What is it that you intend to give in return? (no such thing as something for nothing)

3)      What specific time line do you put on acquiring this amount?

4)      Create a definite plan

5)      Write a clear statement encompassing all of the above.

6)      Read this statement late at night and early in the mornings.

The object here is to want money, and to become so determined to have it that you convince yourself that you WILL have it.

Now in following the above mentioned steps, you communicate your desires directly to your subconscious in absolute faith!

Consequently, the habits needed to achieve the results will now be voluntarily created by you..

Now please remember that merely reading the statements cannot bring the desired effect without adding the desired emotions. Actually thinking about the joy that you will feel and experiencing the emotions that genuine success will bring: Now that WILL bring results!

This may not be easy in the beginning, but do not despair. You must remain persistent in applying these principles and the emotions will follow.

It is important that you strengthen your powers of concentration. Closing your eyes will allow you to focus on seeing yourself at the pinnacle of success. Lock out all distractions.

Do this exercise twice daily.

You can convince your subconscious mind that you already have the money you want, if you REALLY believe that you do, and you repeatedly speak it aloud.

When you are visualizing the wealth you intend to accumulate, (with closed eyes) you must also SEE yourself giving the service, or delivering the goods that you intend to give for the money. This is a very important part of the process.

There are 3 steps to follow in order to stimulate your subconscious:

1)      Have a quiet place, no distractions, where you can close your eyes and repeat aloud your written statement and plan of success. Be specific. Believe!

2)      Repeat the above step twice per day until you can actually SEE the money you intend to accumulate and the lifestyle that comes with it.

3)      Put your statement in a prominent place where you will see it several times during the day. Read it until you have it memorized.

Remember as you carry out this exercise that you are in effect applying the principle of autosuggestion. You are instructing your subconscious mind, and it must be done with emotion! Take note that faith is the strongest and most productive of all emotions. The Bible states that Jesus said, “Speak those things that be not, as though they are.”

Many will react to this with skepticism as it may be a very new concept to them. However, if you adhere to these instructions, your skepticism will turn to belief and your belief will ultimately develop into absolute faith.

Visualization of, and belief in attainment of desire is the second step towards achieving wealth.

There are no limitations to the mind if we refuse to acknowledge them as such.

Both a lack of money (poverty), and a surplus of it (wealth), are the offspring of our thoughts.

For the record, I personally believe that God gives us the power to gain wealth.

Faith is a gift, but if we truly believe in our ability to achieve a particular goal, our faith can be developed by speaking the thing into being.

“Repetition of affirmation of orders to your subconscious mind is the only known method of voluntary development of the emotion of faith.” (Napoleon Hill)

Perfection will come through consistent practice. It cannot come by merely reading instructions.

It is essential that you encourage the positive emotions in your mind and eliminate the negative ones.

“Thoughts which are mixed with any of the feelings of emotions constitute a “magnetic” force which attracts other similar or related thoughts.” (Napoleon Hill)

There are 5 steps to attaining Self-Confidence!

1)      I know that I am capable of achieving my defined purpose. I hold myself accountable to carrying out the necessary steps towards that end. I commit to the task at hand.

2)      I realize that as I think, so I will become. Therefore for at least ½ hour a day I will focus on the person I intend to become, forming a vivid image of this persona in my mind.

3)      I know that through the principle of autosuggestion, my mind will seek to practically match my words, so for 10 minutes a day I will demand of myself that I develop my self confidence by repeating positive affirmations.

4)      I have written down my clearly defined goals and I will take the steps consistently without fail, as I develop the self confidence that will ensure that I attain these goals.

5)      I recognize that wealth and position cannot stand unless they are built on a foundation of truth and justice. Therefore I will maintain my integrity at all times and will NOT compromise.

I WILL give without want, knowing that I am activating the laws of attraction and reciprocity in my life. I will think positive thoughts and speak positive words.

I am a winner, I am succeeding! I AM A TOP PRODUCER!

What makes a person seem attractive to others?

What causes someone to become famous?

Why do movie stars and celebrities attract hordes of fans?

Why is it that in a room full of people, a leader will emerge in a matter of minutes that others will want to follow?

Have you ever noticed that in your company, all the people coming in want to join the top producers?

So how can you tap in to this and turn it to your advantage?

Believe it or not, the solution lies in human psychology. This is the starting point.

Attraction is NOT a choice!

It is a biological trigger originating from the beginning of mankind. As a result of their very instinct to survive, people exist in social groups and always attach themselves to a leader until they themselves learn the skills needed to fend for themselves.

The leader is known as the, “Alpha”. They are the strongest and most dominant member of these groups.

This concept still pertains to today’s world but is expressed through different abilities. No longer hunting and gathering food for example, but skills such as business acumen, sociability, financial freedom and education.

There are two things that you can derive from this:

1)      People’s attraction to others happens in their subconscious mind. They are attracted to people who convey leadership qualities and who have a high level of personal value.

2)      For you to become a top producer in networking or the top of your game in any industry, you MUST learn to exude these qualities and have value to others.

Sometimes it can take years to develop these attributes.

You see, there are 3 types of people. These are Alpha’s (established leaders), Pre-Alpha’s (up and coming leaders) and Beta’s (followers).

Which one are you?

Here’s the thing…the group that you consider that you belong to is determined by your state of mind!

You decide!

Now you cannot fake belief. You either truly believe that you are…or you are not.

Challenging the views that you currently hold about yourself can be difficult. Increasing your value to others and taking the initiative to move from one group to another comes down to your personal development.

Belief must come before results and this will lead to actions and behaviours.

You can do this….leaders are not always born they are developed..start now!

The concept of the vision board has been around for many generations. However, there has been a renewal of interest in the idea since it was demonstrated in the documentary, The Secret, by the success expert John Assaraf.

A vision board is a visual representation of your dreams. The things you want to have,  or to achieve. Its purpose is to activate the law of attraction in your life and to pull things from your external environment that will enable you to realize your dreams.

Whilst putting the board together, you will feel happy, and you will also feel excitement and passion, and then you will start to manifest these things in your life.

The whole exercise began for me, when I was given a page out of a marketing training manual, on which to write the top 100 things that I want to do with my life. I sat to write and got to #20. Then I realized that my vision was not big enough. I returned to it a few days later and added a few more items.

It was then that I caught myself imagining having and being a product of, the items on my list. I smiled to myself and at that instant, I got it!

My next step was to create a vision board.

I started collecting photographs of the things I wanted to achieve. I wrote out my mission statement and my daily positive affirmations. As my board began to take shape, my children, who looked on in curious amazement, began to understand the process, and soon the whole family became a part of the vision. Being my children, their wants are also a part of my board, and the excitement was unanimous.

No matter what circumstance you find yourself in, you must have a vision of a better future!

The Bible says, “Without vision, my people perish”.

The Law of Attraction states that whatever we give our attention to, whether positive or negative, this is what we attract into our lives.

When creating your personal vision board, you must be sure that it contains these 4 elements.

It must be visual. Use as many pictures and images as possible. Supplement these with words that stimulate an emotional response from within you.

It must evoke emotion. The mere sight of it should fuel your passion to achieve.

Put it in a prominent place. Make sure you place your board where it is constantly within your eyesight, in a place where you spend a lot of time.

Make it personal. This is your dream, your vision. Make it your reality.

This is a powerful concept and if you implement it NOW you WILL attract the results!
